Jackie and Elijah’s wedding day at Harrington Farm could not have been more perfect. The weather was sunny and warm without being hot, with just a hint of fall chill in the air as evening settled in—a truly ideal setting for their celebration.
Jackie looked stunning in a classic, form-fitting gown with a sweeping train, while Elijah wore a timeless black tuxedo. Their wedding party complemented them beautifully, with groomsmen also in tuxes and bridesmaids in a gorgeous shade of green. Jackie and Elijah chose to see each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle, and it was a moving moment. Her brother officiated a touching, personalized ceremony that made the day even more meaningful.
These two were such a joy to photograph. Jackie especially loved the black-eyed Susans blooming at Harrington Farm, so we made sure to spend time in that area for their couple’s portraits. The golden grasses and flowers made for a dreamy backdrop, and the late-summer light brought everything to life. After thoughtful and emotional toasts from their moms, maid of honor, and best man, we slipped outside just before sunset to capture a few final portraits in the glow of the fading sun.
Once the formalities were over, the party really kicked off. Jackie and Elijah cut their wedding cake with a giant sword—a fun surprise for their guests—and then danced the night away surrounded by friends and family. Jackie later changed into an adorable party dress, while Elijah swapped into a more playful bowtie, both ready to end the night in style.
From start to finish, their wedding was filled with beauty, joy, and so much personality. Harrington Farm was the perfect backdrop, and we were so happy to capture it all.
