Some wedding days feel like everything comes together exactly as planned, and Christina and Josh's wedding at Harrington Farm was one of them. It was one of those perfect summer days that was warm without being too hot, and the gardens around the property were in full bloom, creating a beautiful setting from beginning to end.
The day started with getting ready photographs before Christina shared a special first look with her dad. It was a quiet, emotional moment that meant a lot to both of them and was one of many memorable moments throughout the day.
Not long after, Christina and Josh saw each other for the first time during their first look. With family photographs planned before the ceremony, we had plenty of time to explore the beautiful grounds at Harrington Farm together. We wandered through the gardens, near the pond, and to some of our favorite spots on the property while creating relaxed, natural photographs before guests arrived for the ceremony.
One of the most emotional moments of the day came just before the ceremony. Christina's dad stood up from his wheelchair so he could walk her down the aisle. There were tears throughout the crowd as the two made their way together, creating a moment no one there will soon forget.
Their ceremony was officiated by a close friend, who did a wonderful job making it personal and meaningful. Once they were officially married, Christina and Josh headed to cocktail hour to spend time with their family and friends, something they had intentionally built into their timeline.
The reception began with a fun first dance followed by toasts that celebrated the couple and the journey that brought them together. Guests enjoyed a fantastic meal before the evening continued with plenty of time to catch up, celebrate, and enjoy the beautiful summer evening.
One especially meaningful detail was the wedding cake, which had been made by Josh's mom. Rather than having a formal cake cutting in the center of the reception, they quietly cut the cake off to the side before sharing a touching father daughter dance between Christina and her dad.
As the sun began to set, we slipped outside for one last round of photographs. The sky put on an incredible show, giving us one of those sunsets photographers always hope for. Christina was excited to try something a little different and happily sat right down on the ground in her wedding dress for a few creative photographs. We always love couples who are willing to trust the process and have a little fun, and those images became some of our favorites from the day.
After that, it was time to head back inside where Christina and Josh spent the rest of the evening celebrating on the dance floor with the people they love most.
Congratulations, Christina and Josh! Thank you for trusting us to be part of such a beautiful day. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.
