Some wedding days are remembered not only for how beautiful they were, but for the people and moments that made them special. Kim and Justin’s July wedding was one of those days, filled with family, laughter, a classic Mustang, and one very warm summer afternoon.
And when we say warm… we mean a true July heat advisory kind of day.
We started photography with Kim and her side getting ready at an Airbnb in Fitchburg. It was a relaxed start to the day before heading to St. Cecilia’s in Leominster, MA, where Kim and Justin were married during a traditional Catholic Mass. Despite the summer heat and a church without air conditioning, their family and friends filled the pews to celebrate as they officially became husband and wife.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to Harrington Farm in Princeton, MA for photos and the reception. We started with Kim and Justin’s portraits around the property, including photos with Justin’s dad’s vintage Mustang. Classic cars always add something fun and personal to wedding photos, and it was the perfect detail to include in their day.
We continued with wedding party and family photos before everyone joined cocktail hour and got ready for the celebration ahead.
A really special part of the day was how they included Justin’s eleven-year-old daughter, Elena. She walked as their flower girl, gave a sweet toast during the reception, and shared a special dance with Elena later that evening. It was clear how important she is to their story, and it was beautiful seeing her celebrated throughout the day.
The reception was a perfect summer night at Harrington Farm. Guests filled the dance floor, enjoyed time outside on the back patio, and celebrated with Kim and Justin all evening.
The day ended with one of those gorgeous Harrington Farm sunsets that is always worth sneaking away for. After a sweltering July afternoon, the evening light was the perfect way to finish their wedding photos.
