Emma and Justin's wedding at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts was one of those days where everything came together perfectly. The weather could not have been better. It was a little windy at times, but comfortable, with beautiful skies and no rain in sight. They joked that the best $11 they spent during wedding planning was on a weather spell from an Etsy witch, and honestly, it seemed to work.
This was simply a gorgeous wedding filled with wonderful people and so much excitement. It was a day they had waited a long time for, and you could tell that neither of them took a single moment for granted.
Emma looked stunning in her strapless gown with a beautiful train, and one of the most meaningful details was that she wore her mom's veil. Throughout the day, she kept saying how crazy it was that her wedding day had finally arrived. It was so much fun watching her take it all in, appreciate every moment, and truly enjoy the day she had been waiting for.
They put together the perfect timeline, which gave them plenty of time before the ceremony for a first look, couple's portraits, photos with their sweet dog Sabine, wedding party photos, and family photos. Having everything completed before the ceremony allowed them to be fully present for the rest of the day and spend time with their guests.
Their family photos were especially meaningful because all seven of their grandparents were there to celebrate with them. Having so many important family members together in one place is something that never goes unnoticed and made those photographs even more special.
Before the ceremony, Emma and Justin signed their ketubah inside the Harrington Farm farmhouse with their closest family and friends gathered around them. It was such a sweet moment to witness as their families came together.
Their ceremony took place outside on the ceremony patio beneath their chuppah. The Jewish ceremony included the Seven Blessings, sharing wine, and the breaking of the glass. It was both joyful and meaningful, and immediately afterward they joined their cocktail hour, spending time visiting with guests and simply enjoying being surrounded by the people they love.
One of our favorite things about Emma and Justin was how well they enjoyed their wedding day. They weren't rushing from one thing to the next or worrying about the timeline. They took time to talk with family and friends, laughed often, and really soaked in every part of the celebration. We always love seeing couples have the best time at their weddings because those are the days they will talk about forever, and Emma and Justin did exactly that.
After they were introduced into the reception, they shared their first dance before moving into a photo dash with their guests. Emma's sweet parents gave a lovely toast, and then all of their grandfathers came forward to bless the bread with the Hamotzi. It was such a touching moment and another reminder of how important family is to these two.
As the sun began to set, we snuck outside for a few sunset portraits before heading back inside for the rest of the celebration. After dinner, they kicked off the dancing with a combined parent dance that flowed right into a lively hora, complete with both of them being lifted high into the air on chairs. One of the most fun details of the evening was the temporary tattoos of their dog, Sabine. As the dance floor filled up, guests put on Sabine tattoos and proudly wore them while they danced the night away. It was such a fun, personal touch and another reminder of how much Emma and Justin wanted their wedding to reflect the things and people they love most.
From there, the dance floor stayed packed as they celebrated with family and friends and had an absolute blast!
Emma and Justin, thank you for trusting us to photograph your wedding day. It was beautiful from beginning to end, and it was such a joy watching you fully embrace every moment. We know you'll be talking about how much fun you had on this day for years to come.
