Kayleigh and Duncan celebrated their wedding with a small, intimate brunch surrounded by their closest family and friends at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill in Boylston, Massachusetts.

It rained from beginning to end, but Tower Hill is one of those places that is still beautiful on a rainy day. Between the greenhouses, indoor spaces, and lush greenery throughout the property, there were plenty of great locations for photographs while everyone stayed comfortable and enjoyed the relaxed pace of the day.

Kayleigh and Duncan brought a classy vintage style to their wedding. Kayleigh wore a beautiful dress with off the shoulder sleeves and heirloom aquamarine jewelry, while Duncan wore a green suit with a blue vest and bow tie. Some of the most meaningful details were the antique family heirlooms they incorporated into the day, including a pocket watch that belonged to Duncan’s great great grandfather and cufflinks from his grandfather. Gorgeous florals tied everything together and fit perfectly with the garden setting.

Their ceremony in the Orangarie was officiated by a friend and included a handfasting ceremony. With their small group gathered around them, the entire ceremony felt personal and relaxed.

The brunch reception continued that same low key feeling. Guests move to the Limonaia and enjoyed an omelet bar, and Kayleigh and Duncan kept the music personal with their own playlist. There was some dancing, but much of the celebration was simply about spending time together and enjoying the company of the family and friends they had chosen to share the day with.

The rain never really let up, but toward the end of the celebration Kayleigh and Duncan decided to embrace it. We headed outside together for a final round of couple photos in the rain, surrounded by the greenery in the Winder Garden at Tower Hill.

Their wedding was a great example of how an intimate celebration can still be filled with beautiful details, traditions, great food, dancing, and plenty of time with the people who matter most. Even on a rainy day, New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill was a beautiful setting for Kayleigh and Duncan’s relaxed brunch wedding. It was so great to be a part of their day. Congratulations Kayleigh & Duncan!
