Emilio and Alexa were married on a beautiful summer day at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, Massachusetts. It was definitely a hot one, but the gardens were in full bloom and made an incredible setting for their wedding day.


We started at the hotel with getting ready photographs before heading over to Tower Hill for the rest of the day. Once everyone arrived, Emilio and Alexa shared their first look and we spent some time photographing the two of them before moving into wedding party and family photographs.


Alexa looked beautiful in a classic off the shoulder wedding gown with a long train, buttons down the back, and a long veil. Her bouquet was filled with shades of pink, purple, blue, and green that looked perfect against the summer gardens. Emilio wore a navy tuxedo with black lapels, while their wedding party brought together navy, pink, and light blue for a colorful summer palette.


As guests began arriving for the ceremony, a harpist played music and continued as the wedding party made their way down the aisle. Alexa's grandfather officiated the ceremony, making it an especially meaningful part of the day. Friends and family had traveled from near and far to celebrate with Emilio and Alexa, including Emilio's abuelita, who came all the way from El Salvador to be there for their wedding.


After the ceremony, we photographed more family and group combinations before heading out to explore the grounds with Emilio and Alexa. Tower Hill has so many beautiful places for photographs, especially during the summer when everything is green and in bloom. We could have easily spent the entire day wandering around the property with them!


Back at the reception, Emilio and Alexa kicked things off with a choreographed first dance before dinner and toasts. Parent dances followed, including a dance between Alexa and her mom, and then it was time to open the dance floor.


From the colorful gardens and personal ceremony to a packed dance floor at the end of the night, it was such a fun summer wedding to photograph. Congratulations, Emilio and Alexa!
