Late May in New England can bring just about anything, but when Julia and Jake’s wedding day arrived, even we were surprised by the weather. The day began with rain, wind, and even snow, making it feel more like winter than the end of May. Thankfully, the stormy weather moved through just in time, giving us the chance to get outside for their first look and photos around the beautiful grounds of Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts.

Despite the chilly temperatures, Julia and Jake never let the weather dampen their spirits. Their emotional first look and private vows was one of many moments throughout the day that brought happy tears. Surrounded by family and friends, they embraced every part of the celebration and made the most of a day that truly showcased all four seasons.

The couple chose to hold their ceremony outdoors, and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. While guests may have appreciated an extra layer or two, the skies had cleared, the views were beautiful, and the setting felt perfect for their vows. Their friend Sarah officiated the ceremony and did a fantastic job making it personal, sharing stories and memories that reflected who Julia and Jake are as a couple.

One of the standout details of the day was the stunning floral design. Paired with a color palette of navy, champagne, and soft spring blossoms, everything came together beautifully. The florals, attire, and reception décor complemented the season perfectly and added so much color and warmth to the celebration.

As the evening continued, family and friends shared thoughtful toasts that had everyone laughing, tearing up, and celebrating alongside the newlyweds. There were plenty of emotional moments throughout the day, from the first look to the speeches, and it was clear just how loved Julia and Jake are by the people around them.

By sunset, the skies had completely transformed from the stormy start to reveal beautiful golden light. It was the perfect ending to a wedding day that reminded everyone just how unpredictable New England weather can be. Rain, snow, wind, sunshine, and a gorgeous sunset all in one day made for a memorable celebration, and we were so happy to be there to photograph it all.

Congratulations, Julia and Jake! Thank you for allowing us to be part of such an incredible day.
