January weddings always have a certain kind of magic, and Becca and Dalton’s day was full of thoughtful moments, familiar faces, and just the right mix of winter charm and warmth.
Becca and Dalton were married at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts, on an unseasonably warm January day. The forecast had threatened rain, but it held off until later in the evening, giving us the chance to spend time outside for photos. Even with patches of snow and ice still lingering on the grounds, the mild weather made winter portraits comfortable and enjoyable.
Their dogs, Honey and Sheldon, were a big part of the day and absolutely stole the show. They wandered around happily, posed like professionals, and were so well behaved. We love when couples include their dogs in their wedding day, and Honey and Sheldon could not have been more perfect.
Becca and Dalton chose not to do a first look, but we were still able to photograph each side of the wedding party separately before the ceremony. Becca’s uncle officiated the ceremony, which added a meaningful and personal touch to the day.
Following the ceremony, we snuck outside for wedding party photos and couple portraits. Becca slipped on muck boots under her dress to brave the ice and mud, and while there was no shortage of either, it was completely worth it. As if the winter setting wasn’t memorable enough, the porcupine who sometimes visits the property even made an appearance for Becca and Dalton.
We finished out cocktail hour by photographing family photos inside in front of the fireplace, which was the perfect cozy contrast to the winter landscape outdoors. The reception included lovely parent dances, lovely toasts, a bouquet dedication surprise for Becca’s mom, and a special dance with her aunts that meant so much to everyone in the room. From there, the night turned into a packed dance floor as Becca and Dalton celebrated with their family and friends.
This wedding was especially meaningful for us because we had worked closely with Becca throughout the past wedding season at Harrington Farm. We spent many weekends together while photographing other weddings, often chatting about her own plans along the way. Getting to finally photograph her wedding day felt full circle and incredibly special!
Becca and Dalton’s wedding was full of meaningful moments, personal details, and genuine joy from start to finish. What a great way to kick off our 2026 weddings! If the rest of the season looks anything like this, we’re in for a great year.Congratulations Becca & Dalton!
