Abigail and Michael’s wedding day at Moraine Farm didn’t come with perfect weather - but it came with something even better: nonstop joy, a packed dance floor, and a couple who truly made the most of every moment.
They actually decided to swap the ceremony and cocktail hour, hoping the skies might clear in time for an outdoor ceremony on the lawn. Unfortunately, that break in the weather didn’t come in time, so they held their ceremony in the tent. While the lawn ceremony they envisioned wasn’t in the cards, the ceremony was still beautiful. Their siblings officiated and did a perfect job. It was personal, funny, and full of meaning. Abigail and Michael wrote their own vows, and they were unforgettable.
Even before the skies cleared, they were up for anything, heading out with umbrellas for photos in front of the teahouse and through the garden. Once the rain finally let up after the ceremony, we made the most of it and took a few more portraits on the gorgeous Moraine Farm grounds, where the mountain laurel and rhododendrons were in full bloom.
As good as the rest of the day was, the real magic happened once the dancefloor opened. Their tent was filled with disco balls and incredible energy! Everyone showed up ready to celebrate. It was the kind of reception where the joy was contagious and the energy never dipped. Everyone was all in from the first song to the last.
Rain or shine, Abigail and Michael’s wedding was a celebration to remember. We’re so glad we got to be there to capture it all and wish all weddings had those disco balls! Congratulations Abigail and Michael!
