Mary and Matt had one of those September days where the weather could not have been better for their commitment ceremony at Warren Conference Center in Ashland, Massachusetts. With blue skies and comfortable temperatures, they were able to take advantage of the grounds throughout the entire day.
Mary wore an off the shoulder dress with a corset back, while Matt wore black with lilac details in his tie and socks. They started with a first look before spending time exploring the property for their photos together. With the first look complete, we were also able to photograph their family and other formal photos before the ceremony, leaving them plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the celebration.
Their outdoor commitment ceremony was personal from beginning to end. A friend officiated, and Mary and Matt wrote their own vows to one another. With the beautiful weather and wooded setting at Warren Conference Center, it was a great spot for an outdoor ceremony.
The property was also an important part of why Mary and Matt chose Warren Conference Center. Matt uses a power wheelchair and was thrilled with how accessible the grounds were. The paved paths made it possible to move around the property and use different locations for photos throughout the day. With onsite accommodations, plenty of outdoor space, and paths connecting the different areas, the venue has a fun camp and retreat feel while still working really well for am elegant celebration.
After the ceremony, everyone headed inside for the reception. Mary and Matt shared their first dance, followed by touching speeches and toasts from their family and friends. Mary also shared a father daughter dance, and Matt’s mom had prepared a slideshow with photos of him throughout the years.
Later in the evening, we went outside for a few nighttime photos around the property before they returned to the reception. They spent the rest of the night dancing, visiting with friends and family, and enjoying the celebration.
It was such a great day for Mary and Matt, and Warren Conference Center was a perfect fit for the relaxed, welcoming celebration they planned.
