Rita and Dan’s wedding at Hyland Orchard & Brewery was the perfect mix of rustic charm, fun surprises, and personal touches. Their ceremony took place at the orchard’s scenic hilltop location, with guests arriving by tractor rides—a unique and memorable way to start the celebration. Their friend Josh officiated the ceremony and did a wonderful job, keeping it intimate and meaningful.
After the ceremony, Rita and Dan took family and wedding party photos before exploring the orchard for portraits together. Rita looked stunning in her lace gown with removable sleeves, while Dan wore a tan suit that complemented the late summer setting. Later in the evening, they shared a fun moment feeding the goats, which made for such great candid photos.
Their first dance started as a slow song but quickly shifted into a tango—a surprise that had everyone smiling! As night fell, we slipped away into the orchards once more to capture them under the late summer night sky. Rita had another surprise for Dan: a saxophone player who kicked off the dancing with incredible energy. Guests also enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the campfire, adding a cozy ending to the night.
One fun thing about this wedding was that Dan’s brother Jon, a DJ we often work with and good friend of ours, stood by his side as best man. He was the one who connected us with Rita and Dan, and it’s always such an honor to be trusted by vendor friends to capture important milestones for their families.
