Rainy wedding days don’t slow down the right couples, and Sam and Matt proved that in the best way possible during their May wedding at Salem Cross Inn. Even with steady rain throughout the day, their celebration was relaxed, joyful, and full of energy from start to finish.
They held their ceremony indoors, which worked perfectly for the day and allowed everyone to stay dry while still enjoying the charm and character Salem Cross Inn is known for. The space felt warm and inviting, setting the tone for the rest of the celebration.
When it came time for portraits, Sam and Matt didn’t hesitate to step outside and embrace the weather. The rain added such a fun, candid feel to their photos, especially when Sam’s veil caught the wind and adorably blew right out of her hair. Those unscripted moments are often the ones couples end up loving most, and this was no exception.
After photos, the celebration continued indoors with lots of laughter, dancing, and time spent with the people they love most. Rain or shine, Sam and Matt focused on enjoying their day together, and it made for a wedding that felt genuine, fun, and completely true to them.
