Jen and Eddie had the most beautiful late summer day for their wedding at Harrington Farm in Princeton, MA. The weather was just right, not too hot and not too cold, making it comfortable for everyone to enjoy.
Jen looked stunning in her gown, a perfectly fitted dress with an incredible train that flowed behind her. Eddie looked fantastic in his tailored navy suit with a crisp white vest and tie. Their wedding party tied everything together beautifully with bridesmaids in sage green, groomsmen in blue suits with green ties, and their nephews stealing the show as “ring security.” Their daughters were the sweetest flower girls, adding so much joy to the day.
The couple chose to do a first look because they wanted to get as much done before the ceremony as possible so they could relax and enjoy the day. After Jen and Eddie’s first look, Eddie also shared a sweet first look with their four daughters before we moved into wedding party and family portraits.
Their ceremony was thoughtful and emotional, highlighted by a touching moment where they gave their girls bracelets to symbolize their importance in their family.
During cocktail hour, Jen slipped away for a quick hair change while the golden sunset lit up the field across the street. The portraits we captured in that glow are some of our favorites.
The reception was just as fun as it was meaningful. Jen and Eddie surprised guests with a choreographed first dance that they absolutely nailed, followed by warm and personal toasts. Early in the night dancing started with a “kids set,” where the children filled the floor for favorites like Baby Shark and Let It Go - it was so much fun! Then the bouquet toss and a playful t-shirt toss kept the energy high. Once the kids went home, the adults took over the dance floor and celebrated late into the night.
What stood out most was how much the day reflected their love for family. For us, it was also extra special since we are good friends with Jen’s mom and sister through working many weddings at Harrington Farm together. It meant so much to be trusted with capturing this day. Their family welcomed us warmly and even pulled us onto the dance floor to celebrate alongside them.
Congratulations Jen and Eddie, we loved working with you and wish you a long and happy marriage!
