Sam and Remy’s November wedding at the Colonial Hotel in Gardner, MA, was the perfect blend of moody elegance and personal touches. It was a chilly but clear fall day—ideal for portraits around the Colonial, including their beautiful new pavilion surrounded by the last bits of autumn color.
The couple shared a sweet first look before the ceremony and took full advantage of the grounds for photos. Their dark academia theme tied everything together, with rich colors, stacks of vintage books, and black tablecloths setting the tone. Sam and her bridesmaids carried lanterns instead of bouquets, adding an enchanting twist that fit the theme perfectly. Guests found their seating cards tucked into an old library card catalog—a detail that everyone loved.
Before the reception, Sam changed into a second dress to surprise Remy, and they kicked off the night with a perfectly choreographed first dance. Their friends and family filled the dance floor with great energy all night long, and the evening ended on a sweet note with a made-to-order cannoli bar where guests picked their own fillings and toppings.
A stylish, creative, and joy-filled day from start to finish - congratulations, Sam and Remy!
